The 147th Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival was a fantastic weekend of Scottish and Celtic art, sport, music, dance and culture! The weather was awesome and an estimated 15,000 people attended (a new Games record). After a full weekend of the best heavy events competition ever in this part of the world, Larry Brock from the USA was acclaimed as the 2010 IHGF World Heavy Event Champion. Thanks to all the competitors, participants, volunteers, sponsors, dignitaries and spectators who made the Games weekend so successful. See you next year on May 21 and 22, 2011 at Topaz Park!

The Highland Championship Scottish Ale, was locally made by Lighthouse Brewing Company, title sponsors of the 2010 World Heavy Events Championship, to celebrate the Games and the Championship. A true Scottish taste without all the travel, all of this awesome brew (clad in the Pride of Scotland tartan!) was quickly sold out at selected private liquor stores and the 147th Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival. Wait til next Games to see if this fine ale is once again available!
