Gates

There are two gates that will give you access to the festival .

Finlayson Gate (G1): If you park your car in the Finlayson/Blanshard area or north or west of the park, this is your best option. This is also the best option for cyclists as there is a bicycle lockup in the lacrosse box by this gate.

Glasgow Gate (G2): if you are coming from Quadra St (through Topaz or Spruce, this might be your best option.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please note that, this year, we won’t have a gate at Topaz Ave parking entrance.

Loading/Unloading

If you are a concession, vendor, athlete, performer or just want to load/unload equipment, please use the Finlayson Entrance.  Part of that parking lot [D1/D2] will be reserved for loading/unloading.

Parking

If you decide to drive to the games, you will have a few options for parking. Keep in mind that the games are very popular and that parking spots are limited. We highly recommend you use public transportation or ride your bike to the games. For more information, see our page on how to arrive at the games.

Here are your options for parking nearby:

S.J.Willis School: the school is on Topaz Ave, between Quadra St, and Blanshard St. In relation the the map above, it would be just south of Glasgow St and Topaz Ave [F3]. The entrance to this parking lot is through Gilles Place (a continuation of Glasgow St).

Street Parking: be aware of Residential Parking Only signs. Your best options for street parking are along Quadra St, or at more distant streets north or east from the park. If you prefer to park west of Blanshard St (Patricia Bay Hwy), be aware that the only street crossings are on Finlayson or Hillside with nothing in between (no street crossing on Topaz Ave).

Disabled-Parking Sign

Reserved parking spots for vehicles carrying the disabled parking sign will be available at the parking lot outside Finlayson Gate [D2].
