The annual Tartan Parade in downtown Victoria this Saturday will kick off  the 9-day Victoria Highland Games and Celtic Festival schedule.

The parade starts at 11AM from Centennial Square (corner of Pandora and Government Streets) and moves along Government Street to the Legislature Grounds.  Come out and see pipe and drum bands, highland dancers, heavy event athletes and members of local Scottish organizations from across Greater Victoria.  Once at the Legislature, there will be a performance by the massed bands, the Highland Fling will be danced and it will be topped off with a caber toss (or two).

Come on out Saturday morning for the music and colour along Government Street.  Feel free to wear your kilt and join the parade!
